I cannot believe its been a year since I first started chatting on GP (an Internet forum for women trying to get pregnant). I went on at first to get some feedback on TTC and just to relate to other girls in my shoes. None of my friends and only a few co-workers were at the place Corey and I were in our lives and although it was a decision that was 100% right for us, it was still hard to jump into TTC with no one to really talk to about it. I cannot remember exactly how L, B, E, K, M, J, M, M, & A and I clicked or when... but I do know that without these girls, these past 10 months would not have been the same.
Corey and I have moved around a lot in the past years. I went to college 6 hours from my home for 2 years - move #1 for me - (But will be a SAULKI for life) and then made the incredibly hard decision to move back home to attend a school that was more affordable. - move # 2 - I had made some great friends at SIU, but it was 6 hours away. I visited a lot and they visited me, but it was not the same. My boyfriend of 4 years broke my heart after I moved back home but because of it I applied for a job in Las Vegas and I met Corey. Corey decided to come with me to Vegas -move # 3 - after moving to Chicago from Milwaukee. I LOVED Vegas. Again made some good friends and had a blast, when Corey got a better job offer in Milwaukee. So we made the decision to move here. - Move # 5 - I am not going to lie, moving around a lot makes making and keeping friends hard. But I met a friend here right away and we just clicked. I would venture to say that she was my best friend, here. Well last year in Sept. we had a HUGE falling out. I was really sad. I honestly didn't have many more friends here. I had a lot of acquaintances, but real friends... not really.
I was so lonely and sure I had Corey, but I missed girls night out and I missed my friend. That's when I can remember meeting my wonderful PD friends. You girls have been there for me though out my entire TTC and pregnancy process and were my support system throughout it all. It would not have been the same without you girls. Thank you so much for all the support through the tough times, for all the advice, and for all of the late night chats!
I love you all for it and I dont think I ever really get to tell you guys how much I vaule our friendship weather or not we know each other IRL. Hopefully someday we will get to take that PD Cruise. Till then ... see you on the ship!

Oh Lea! You mean more to me than you will ever know as well! I love all you girls so much. I'm so glad we had each other through all of this!! I know someday we'll get to do something together and it will be awesome!!
You are so sweet!! It means so much to me as well to have you all to turn to when no one else seems to care! Not sure I could have done it with out all of you as well! I agree with Kit and think we need to have a PD reunion some day!

Lea you are a doll and I'm so glad to have all of you girls in my life. Even though we've never "met" I feel closer to you then many of my irl friends. I can't believe it's been a whole year. I'm glad we get to share all of these important moments in each other's lives.
Lea, I know I am not a PD girl, but wanted to say that you are awesome. I feel so at home talking you you girls even when DH rolls his eyes when he sees me chatting with you all. We are all one big GP family and I love you all =)

There is no way I would have been able to stay sane without all of you through this wonderful (yet sometimes horribly stressful) journey. I definitely feel like you girls are a huge part of my life and when I stop and think about it I find it so crazy that we've never met. Someday we WILL take that cruise. :)
