Oh how the time has flown....

Wow. Just wow. First let me say how much I absolutely LOVE being a mom. It is the best thing in the world, and my love for my little boy is so much that words cannot even begin to describe it. He is over 2 months old. 2 months 1 week and 2 days to be exact. Not only is my love for Brody enormous, but it has definitely made me love Corey even more than I already do, more than I ever thought I could love someone, because we created him together. I know he is going to make a great father to our son. Our family is strong and that's a great feeling.
He had his first shots yesterday. Poor little guy. The screams he let out were like nothing I had ever heard out of his mouth yet. He would just cry and cry and turn reddish purple then take a breath and do it all again! Then he got his rotovirus vaccine (orally) and calmed down a bit (tasted like sugar, I guess). He was good the rest of the day but pretty zonked out.
The doctor told us to start putting rice cereal into his bottle, because he has had some reflux problems and what do you know - no spitting up at all since we started!
He is 11 lbs 13 oz! Big boy. Growing very well.
He is totally out of any clothes that say NB and into either 0-3 month or 3 month clothes. I am not going to lie, I shed a few tears packing up those little clothes. It just hit me, I may never get to do this again, and my baby is growing up.... which is good, but sad at the same time.
Also on the sad side... I go back to work in a week. It went by so fast, I cannot believe it. I am a mess already, just thinking about it. All I want to do is to win the lottery so I can be a stay at home mommy for life. But for now I have to suck it up and go back. I am so not ready.
Here are some new pictures of our little guy:

Oh Leanne he is beautiful! We all know how you feel about going back to work. Be prepared to bawl when you leave and cry at moments you can during work. It will get easier though! Lots of love!
